JOB DESCRIPTION   

EastBanc Technologies’ Marketing Department is seeking an Editorial Intern (Up to 25 Hours/Week) who will collaborate with Marketing staff to plan, research, and write content for our three brands: EastBanc Technologies, Sympli.io & Kublr.com.  

This position reports to the Lead Writer and works closely with all members of the Marketing team to develop and produce strategic content to promote our brands and strengthen thought leadership, including blog posts, video scripts and social media content.  

The successful candidate will quickly develop a clear understanding of the company, the technologies that enable its projects, as well as EastBanc Technologies’ key offerings and the competitive landscape. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Pitch, research and write blog content for all EastBanc Technologies brands
  • Plan and write social media content
  • Work with EastBanc Technologies leadership to develop and promote thought leadership content
  • Help identify key trends in the field and develop content to support it
  • Write and review case studies
  • Perform analysis of existing content and make recommendations for improvement and future content
  • Work with Lead Writer to build out editorial calendar through end of 2022
  • Write advance content for remainder of year as identified in the editorial calendar. 

  SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:   

  • Rising Junior/Senior working toward degree in marketing, journalism or similar field
  • Strong, versatile writing skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEM Rush a plus 
  • Basic understanding of SEO/SEM
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and Google docs a plus 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and respond quickly to organizational needs, demonstrating resiliency in various situations, adapting quickly to changing business needs 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated  
  • Superior time-management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization and deadlines  
  • Team player and willingness to roll up sleeves every day   Basic understanding of AI, ML, Kubernetes, DevOps & digital transformation a plus
