Account Executive

The Account Executive will be responsible for taking qualified leads and managing all the outreach meeting activities necessary to cultivate and close deals. This person will work closely with the Inside Sales Representative on lead qualification and Product Specialists to develop deals and make sure they close in forecasted timelines. Additionally, the Account Executive will make sure forecasted deal details, and activity, are entered into the CRM accurately.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Qualify new leads handed off by the Inside Sales Representative to ensure there is a deal-fit with EBT and the prospect.
  • Cultivate new leads via LinkedIn, cold calling, emailing, and following up on prospect related initiatives to develop/maintain pipeline
  • Manage and maintain all meeting activity and ensure EBT is speaking to correct decision-makers
  • Engage product specialists for additional discovery and technical product demos
  • Identify market share growth through market research in partnership with Inside Sales Representative
  • Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline record of opportunities that are qualified for prospect engagement
  • Identify and participate in virtual trade shows, industry events, sales meetings and training programs as directed


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of previous outside AE experience; preferred background in software solution and services
  • Proven track record of reaching sales targets and revenue goals
  • Prior demonstrated experience prospecting and qualifying leads through cold calling, networking, and meeting functions
  • Develop in-depth understanding of each prospect’s needs, matching it for solution-fit and propose next steps to engage a sales cycle
  • Ability to close deals in forecasted in a forecasted timeframe
  • Consistently meet and exceed pipeline and sales goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
