The Safety Measurement System (SMS) developed by EastBanc Technologies provides the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Safety Department operations with tablet-based incident tracking and prevention. The SMS mobile solution enables remote supervisors to access incident data stored in SharePoint as well as submit new incidents information by street supervisors as they occur. The application serves as a single point of entry for all the safety issues within the WMATA network from vehicle collisions to smoking on the property.
